ABOUT US

Student PhotoWillowbrook's Story
Willowbrook began as Berean Church in January 1977 with a mission to involve people in worship, fellowship and Christian service.

During the first few months of our existence services were held at a bank building on F.M. 1960 on Sunday afternoon. Then in April of 1977 a building formerly used as doctor/dental offices was purchased and moved to our present location. Dedication of the original building was held on June 19, 1977. In 1982 the church was renamed Willowbrook Church. In 1996, construction was completed on our present facility.

Due to the growth of our church, we needed additional space to accommodate our expanding ministry. So in April 2002 we completed construction of a 9,000 square foot facility which is now called the CORE. This two story building houses our youth ministry, children’s ministry, CORE café, and several classrooms.

Over the past several years we have witnessed incredible things taking place within our church--yet our mission remains the same: to reach the lost for Christ, pastor people, and raise up leaders. We do not want to just grow a great church, we want to grow great people and be an expression of God’s love to our community and our city.
